Shouting Distance (Jenine Meston, Duy Thai, Tim Walters) was an a cappella trio that performed traditional songs (American and British) and works by contemporary songwriters. Their basic sound was raw and unpolished, reminiscent of shape-note singing; however, the only surviving recording is this rather lush rendition of Scott Miller's superb song "Inverness." |
